Frequently asked questions
A page for your cellar — description, photos, certifications, events, contact info and social media links, at an address you can share with your customers. With it: an online shop, secure payment, delivery by Swiss Post, customer service and a place on the Swiss wine marketplace. It's all included, with no fixed fees. An e-commerce site would cost you CHF 2,000-10,000 + your time.
Signing up is free and there are no fixed fees. Helvitic is paid only on your sales: you keep at least 70% of the sale price excluding VAT, everything deducted — a floor set out in our T&Cs.
Our model guarantees at least 70%* net margin on every bottle, whatever its price. Everything is already deducted — you sell CHF 100 excluding VAT, you receive at least CHF 70 in your account. Once Helvitic is registered for VAT, it accounts for the VAT on your sales made through the platform (art. 20a VAT Act): you have nothing left to pay on them. With cellar pickup, your margin rises to 84%. It's calculated, transparent, and contractual.
Three options. Swiss Post: you prepare the parcels and drop them off at a post office or access point, with the prepaid label we send you; it delivers throughout Switzerland and postage is on us. Cellar pickup: the customer chooses to collect the order and you agree on a date. Delivering yourself: if you turn the option on, we offer you the chance to deliver an order yourself; if you decline, it goes by Swiss Post.
Payments are made to your bank account every month. You always keep at least 70%* net margin.
